We talked for years about working together, but we were on different tracks in different locations for a long time.

After John graduated from the M. Arch program at UC Berkeley, he went on to establish Anderson McKelvey Architects, a successful design firm in Santa Cruz, California, with an emphasis in residential, corporate interior, and commercial projects.

Meanwhile, after receiving his Master of Architecture at UCLA, Mark worked with several top design firms in Los Angeles and eventually landed at Berliner Architects, where he was a Senior Associate for twenty years, designing and overseeing educational, corporate interior, and residential projects.

Finally, in the last two years, we were able to create the partnership we had always wanted, bringing our broad and divergent experience together for the benefit of our clients. We do not approach projects with pre-conceived ideas or aesthetics. Rather, we seek to closely partner with our clients to firmly establish their needs and vision for the project, ultimately resulting in a unique collaborative design solution.
