Birichino Tasting Room
Scope: Tenant Improvement
Size: 1,200 sf
Completion: 2016
Project Architect: John McKelvey
Located in an historic building just outside the center of a coastal California City, this tenant improvement serves as the public face of a local winery whose vineyards and cellars are located in the Central Valley. The design called for a simple, locally-oriented retail and sampling space that also hosts occasional special events, pop-ups, and marketing appointments for the company. The interior includes many bespoke elements, including the bar and back bar, lighting fixtures, and decorative elements, as well as support spaces for business operations, packaging, and shipping.
